WATCH: Georgia releases 'Choppin' Wood' game trailer for Ole Miss
TUPELO, Miss. — Georgia is all set to take on No. 16 Ole Miss on Saturday. It’s the Bulldogs last road game of the 2024 regular season and it’s a big one for both teams. UGA can essentially punch its ticket to the College Football Playoff with a win. Ole Miss has to have a win if it wants to stay alive in the playoff picture.
The game is less than 24 hours away and that means we’re getting a look at the game trailer. The Georgia video team released it on Saturday night with the title “Choppin’ Wood.” Kirby Smart and company have used those two words as the program’s mantra for years.

While the Rebels are outside of the playoff picture right now, the experts in Las Vegas expect this one to be tight. The Bulldogs are 1.5-point road favorites as of right now after being favored by 2.5 points all week. Smart is certainly ready for a challenge.

“I think Jaxson Dart is playing (like) probably one of the best quarterbacks playing in the country in terms of explosive plays,” Smart said on Monday at Georgia vs. Ole Miss media day. “A lot of respect for how he competes. I mean, the guy runs extremely physical, like a SEC running back. He doesn’t try to avoid contact — he actually seeks it. You can tell he’s got a fiery, competitive attitude, just like his coach does, just like Lane does. So they have a lot of the same personality traits.
Tremendous team that really should probably be undefeated. At the end of the day, they’ve had two really, really close games, both games that they could have easily won. So great challenge ahead, and our team’s looking forward to it. We’ll start getting ready today.”
