WATCH: High school goes wild over Kirby Smart helicopter visit
The Georgia Bulldogs have been on the road heavily since the conclusion of the National Championship, including collectively hitting one hundred high schools as a staff last Friday.
They haven’t slowed down this week either, with multiple stops under their belt, and Kirby Smart getting some major work out of the helicopter.
The head coach was back at it today, stopping by Chattanooga, Tennessee powerhouse Baylor School as he’s making his rounds.
Smart’s visit was featured on the Baylor School Instagram earlier today, and it’s safe to say the school was plenty welcoming of the back-to-back championship-winning head coach.
The Dawgs have already offered two prospects from the Volunteer State standout high school, in 2024 wideout Amari Jefferson and 2025 wideout Cameron Sparks.
Both have previously expressed their interest in the program, having shared their thoughts with On3.

“The experience was first class,” Jefferson told Jeremy Johnson following a visit to Athens last fall. “I really felt the love from the staff starting with Coach Kirby Smart who made meeting me and my family a priority. He spent a lot of time with me after the game. Coach (Will) Muschamp showed me around and they have an amazing new football complex. The atmosphere and fans were loud and into the game. I enjoyed my time there for sure. They want me to come back and so I definitely going to do that. They want me to be a Bulldog and really showed me as much.”
Jefferson ranks as the nation’s No. 455 overall prospect in the Class of 2024 per the On3 Consensus.
Sparks, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound receiver in the Class of 2025, similarly felt the love in a major way upon receiving his offer from the Bulldogs and noted he has some familial fandom for the program.
“Getting the news was amazing and surreal. Being from Georgia and most of my family being UGA fans, they were really excited for me. I’m from Rossville. It’s close to Tennessee,” Sparks told DawgsHQ. “When my family heard about the news, some of my cousins called and congratulated me. My dad has always been a Dawgs fan so he was really excited about it.”
Friday’s fly-in seems to indicate there may be plenty more to read into the relationships moving forward.
The Baylor School secured a Tennessee state championship in December, the program’s first since 1973.
