Georgia added two commitments on Monday, one on the Class of 2023 and one in the Class of 2024. Three-star 2024 wide receiver Sacovie White was the first of the two, later followed by four-star 2023 running back Roderick Robinson, out of Cartersville (Ga.) Cass High School.

White is ranked the No. 394 overall player, the No. 60 wide receiver and the No. 47 player in the state of Georgia according to the On3 Consensus while On3’s in-house rankings have him a little bit higher – unranked overall but No. 52 among players at his position and No. 46 in the Peach State. Below you can check out some of White’s highlights from his sophomore season in 2021.

White joins three other Georgia commits already in the Class of 2024, ranked No. 1 in the country this early. Tight end Landen Thomas is the highest ranked of the group coming in at No. 27 overall. He is joined by his Colquitt County teammate, wide receiver Ny Carr who comes in at No. 33 overall. Running back Tovani Mizell out of DeMatha Catholic in Maryland is also committed, the No. 116 player. Thomas, Carr and Mizell all come in in the top 10 for their respective position groups according to the On3 Consensus.

White was on campus in Athens this past weekend for a visit to see Georgia play Auburn, a 42-10 victory for the home team. Afterwards, he shared with On3 Director of Recruiting on the experience and why he committed to be a Bulldog.

“I committed to Georgia Saturday,” White told On3. “Since Georgia offered, they have been on me hard. They have been communicating with me a lot, they have always been trying to get me on campus, and I decided I was ready to commit to them.”

“Growing up in the state of Georgia and being a football player, everyone wants an offer from Georgia. I always had some love for Georgia in the back of my mind. It wasn’t like Alabama for me, but I knew it was a great school. Georgia has great history. They are coming off a national championship and they are like one big family as a team,” he continued. “The bond they have created with me already means a lot. The coaches are very real and truthful. Georgia doesn’t sugarcoat anything, they tell you how they see it and I love the brotherhood there. They have shown me love, they have welcomed me into the family, and me and my parents love it there. Georgia is a special place to be.”
