Georgia landed another major piece to Class of 2025 on Wednesday, with four-star pass rusher Chase Linton announcing his pledge to the Bulldogs.

A product of Atlanta, Georgia’s North Atlanta High School, Linton ranks as the nation’s No. 107 overall prospect in the 2025 On300 Rankings. He also ranks as the No. 10 EDGE in the cycle, as well as the No. 14 overall prospect in the Peach State per the same metric.

Linton earned an offer from the Bulldogs in the latter part of the summer, on the back of a strong camp performance, and when you turn on the tape, it’s easy to see what caught the eye of the Georgia staff and had them clamoring for his services.

Aside from his 6-foot-4, 215 pound frame, which looks to have plenty of room to be built upon, Linton brings a strong motor to the field, giving high level effort on each and every snap. Additionally, his burst, closing speed, play recognition, and ability to disrupt the pocket are the sort of traits that keep college coaches drooling.

WATCH CHASE LINTON HIGHLIGHTS

Linton joins a talented EDGE group for the Bulldogs in the Class of 2025. The former Rutgers commit becomes Georgia’s twenty-sixth commitment of the cycle, and he joins five-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson, the nation’s No. 1 prospect at the position, and four-star EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon as the pass rushers for the Bulldogs in this class.

With that position largely settled and filled out, the Bulldogs will turn their defensive attention to the likes of Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Justus Terry, Arkansas linebacker commit Tavion Wallace, Tennessee linebacker commit Christian Gass, Florida State defensive tackle commit Kevin Wynn, Five-Star Plus+ LSU cornerback commit DJ Pickett, and Alabama cornerback commit Dijon Lee, among others.
