Georgia added the commitment of an interesting player from the Peach State on Monday. Three-star 2025 athlete Todd Robinson of Valdosta, Ga. announced his pledge to the Bulldogs on social media just a day after leaving his official visit to Athens. It gives UGA 12 commitments in the Class of 2025 and adds to what is shaping up to be an incredibly strong class.

Robinson, listed at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, is ranked the No. 418 player in the country according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s the No. 17 athlete, but there’s not a ton of consensus on what position to put him at. On3 labels him an ATH. 247Sports has him at running back – the No. 7 player at said position. Rivals also has him listed at athlete while it seems his future may be best spent on the defensive side of the ball at the collegiate level.

A quick look at Robinson’s junior season highlights might make you think Georgia just landed a quarterback. That’s where he spends the majority of his time for Valdosta High School throwing for a total of 2,116 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons. Last year alone Robinson both threw for and rushed for 1,000 yards with over 100 yards on the ground in five of his 11 games played. He scored touchdowns as a passer, rusher and receiver. However, as stated before, it seems Georgia believes Robinson is best fit to play on the defensive side of the ball as a defensive back.
