WATCH: Senior highlights of new Georgia QB commit Hezekiah Millender

Georgia picked up a commitment today from a player Bulldog fans didn’t even know anything about until recently. Clarke Central (Athens, Ga.) quarterback Hezekiah Millender flipped his commitment from Boise State to UGA, giving it a second quarterback pledge in the class. Millender is also the 28th commitment in the Bulldogs’ No. 1-ranked class.
The Bulldogs added four-star signal caller Ryan Montgomery to its class over the summer, beating out Florida and South Carolina for the Ohio native. He suffered a major knee injury early during his senior season and that injury, combined with the de-commitment of 2026 quarterback Jared Curtis, has caused Georgia to look for a second quarterback in the 2025 class. A look at Millender’s senior highlights show why the Bulldogs are willing to give him a shot.
Millender moved to Athens from Arizona earlier this year to get more exposure in his recruitment. As it turns out, the team in his new backyard came calling late in the process after a senior season that saw him pile up 25 passing touchdowns compared to just one interception. He threw for 1,798 yards while completing just under 61 percent of his 159 attempts, averaging 11.3 yards per attempt. Millender also carried the football 96 times for 606 yards and 12 touchdowns while helping lead the Gladiators to the playoffs.

Millender and Montgomery will enter a quarterback room at Georgia that will include Gunner Stockton, who’ll be a fourth-year junior and Jaden Rashada, an Arizona State transfer who’ll be entering his third season. The Bulldogs also have redshirt freshman Ryan Puglisi.
At 6-foot-3 195 pounds, Millender is the nation’s No. 1,688 overall prospect and No. 101 quarterback in the 2025 class per the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average of all four websites that publish recruiting rankings. He’s the No. 176 player in Georgia.
