The news US LBM coaches poll looks the same at the top as the previous nine. Georgia is the nation’s No. 1 team after a 43-20 beat down of border rival Florida on Saturday. The Bulldogs are now 9-0 on the season and winners of 25 straight games dating back to the 2021 College Football Playoff.

UGA has 58 first-place votes followed by Michigan at No. 2 with three first-place votes. Ohio State is next, also with three first-place votes with Florida State and Washington rounding out the top five. Texas is the nation’s top-ranked one-loss team at No. 6. Oregon, Alabama, Penn State, and Ole Miss follow to round out the top 10, in that order.

Ole Miss is the highest-ranked team left on the Georgia schedule at No. 10. The Bulldogs play the Rebels on November 11. The Bulldogs’ Week 10 opponent, Missouri, moved up to No. 14 in the latest coaches poll while their Week 12 opponent, Tennessee, is No. 16.

Georgia was on bye last week and looked well-rested against the Gators on Saturday. Florida jumped out to a 7-0 lead but the Bulldogs dominated the rest of the way. After falling behind by a score, Georgia reeled off 36 straight points to take complete control of the game.
