The showdown with Texas is set for 4 p.m. ET (ABC) on Saturday and it’ll be a rematch from a regular-season clash that Georgia won in October. The Bulldogs beat the Longhorns 30-15 in Austin thanks to 10 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and four Texas turnovers.
After finishing its season with a 17-7 win at Texas A&M, Steve Sarkisian’s team is 11-1 on the year. It’s Texas’s first season in the SEC.
With Clemson’s loss to South Carolina, it falls to 17th. That gives Georgia three wins over teams ranked inside the top 20 this year and both of it’s losses came to top 20 teams.
