What will Mike Bobo do with what Todd Monken left behind?
Will Mike Bobo pick up where Todd Monken left off, or are big changes ahead for Georgia football? How about on the recruiting front?
Could Stetson Bennett and Todd Monken work together again soon, or did they butt heads too often?
What is the plan with Kirby Smart hiring all of these Dawgs?
Well, luckily for you, the DawgsHQ crew tackled all of these topics on our Wednesday night live edition of The Georgia Show.
It’s easy to assume that Mike Bobo will just take over the Georgia offense from Todd Monken, and he’ll run an entirely different offense
After all, Monken’s offense looked way different than what Mike Bobo ran in the 2000’s and into the 2010’s at Georgia.
Yes, he had success with David Greene, D.J. Shockley, Matthew Stafford, Aaron Murray and some incredible Georgia running backs through the years.
Knowshon Moreno, Thomas Brown, Todd Gurley, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb aren’t walking through Dell McGee‘s door any time soon.
But our bet is on the possibility that Bobo works off of Todd Monken’s foundation moving forward. And with this schedule, it will be tough to mess it up.

I included some notes on what sports agent Hadley Engelhard had to say about Todd Monken’s pay raise. He also had some insight into a scenario about the Ravens drafting Stetson Bennett.

Jake Rowe seems to think the odds are slim, however.
Speaking of Jakes, Jake Reuse provided some insight on what recruits happen to think about Mike Bobo joining the staff in an offensive coordinator capacity.
You should definitely listen to him. But there’s a case to be made that the Dawgs got better at recruiting from the offensive coordinator post.
And with all of those Dawgs on the staff, there appears to be some unique stability within the Georgia facilities, and out on the recruiting trail.
The news didn’t faze 2024 quarterback commit Ryan Puglisi. Fellow 2024 quarterback target Dylan Raiola has his own connection with Bobo.
It seems as if all is well with Mike Bobo’s ascension to the Georgia offensive coordinator spot yet again.
We probably won’t change your mind on this week’s episode if you think this is a bad hire.
Don’t let that distract you from the fact that these are still the good ol’ days of Georgia football:
