The final round of rankings has been dished out and Georgia has a heavy presence near the top of the list. On3 completed a new ranking on Thursday.

Georgia closed with four five-star signees in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings.

Meet the On3 Industry five stars.

5-star DL Elijah Griffin

No. 3 overall in Industry Rankings

Griffin committed to the Bulldogs back on Oct. 18 2024. He has signed and enrolled for the spring semester. Griffin shined in the Under Armour All-American Game in Florida at the end of the year.

He had another strong season as a senior at Savannah Christian Academy. Griffin’s performance was a nice finishing touch for Griffin. He drew praise from On3’s Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power during his strong week of practices in Florida.

Elijah Griffin lived up to his Five-Star Plus+ billing all week at Under Armour. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder was the top defensive player on hand all week. Griffin was unblockable in both 1-on-1’s and team periods throughout the week of practice. At 6-foot-4, 300 pounds with plus length, Griffin is a true top physical talent at the position. No other defensive lineman in attendance rivaled his combination of size and athleticism. The Georiga pledge was largely dominant on both full-speed days of practice, earning On3 MVP honors on Day 1. He made a big sack during the game, showing eye-popping closing speed. The week at Under Armour provided our first in-person, neutral site exposure to the top five prospect. Griffin looked the part of the top defensive lineman in the 2025 cycle. The great week in Orlando adds to his sensational film and prolific high school career that saw him rack up 96 tackles for loss and 44 sacks at Savannah (Ga.) Savannah Christian. Griffin looks like the top true interior defensive lineman to sign with the Bulldogs since Jalen Carter in the 2020 cycle. – Charles Power after UA All-American Game.

5-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson

No. 9 overall in On3 Industry Rankings

Gibson committed to Georgia back on June 24 after a brief commitment to USC. Gibson stuck with Georgia after a few programs made runs at him in the weeks before signing. He has already signed with Georgia and enrolled.

Scouting Report

Big EDGE prospect who creates a mismatch with his combination of rare physical traits, athleticism and power. Measured in at 6-foot-3.25, 263 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season, but looks to have trimmed down significantly as a senior.

Has elite length and a big frame, sporting 35-inch arms and 10.5 hands. Runs well in the combine setting. Translates his physical ability over to the field while playing top competition on Friday nights. Highly disruptive and productive working as a defensive end at his high school, oftentimes lining up as a standup pass rusher. Finished his junior season with 17 sacks. Converts speed to power with ease. Knifes through the offensive line as a straight-line rusher.

Fights through blocks. Shows the ability to beat double teams and finish with sacks. Has truly elite closing speed and is a violent finisher. Play speed and effort level allows him to make jaw-dropping plays in pursuit. Uses his length to corral ball carriers, sometimes with just one hand. Able to generate sacks that some others can’t due to his power and finishing ability.

5-star WR Talyn Taylor

Taylor committed to the Bulldogs on June 11. Georgia bested Ohio State among others from the talented playmaker from Illinois. Taylor never wavered on commitment as was among the signees to enroll early in January.

Taylor drew a lot of praise from Power during his time in San Antonio during the Navy All-American Bowl earlier this month.

“Talyn Taylor was a late arrival due to travel issues, but wasted little time making his presence felt in his first day of practice at the Navy All-American Bowl,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote. “The Georgia signee has a case as the top route-runner on hand, with elite shake at the top of his routes. Taylor had a number of nice wins during the 1-on-1 period, particularly when working out of the slot.

“His quickness and ability to change gears proves to be a very tough cover for opposing defensive backs, especially safeties. He broke a defender’s ankles on more than one occasion. Taylor also flashed a large catch radius, elevating to come down with a nice spinning grab during the joint practice. If the first day was any indication, the Illinois native could be in line for a strong week.”

5-star LB Zayden Walker

No. 28 overall On3 Industry Ranking

Walker committed to Georgia in the summer before his senior season and never wavered from his pledge. Walker was close a few times to picking Georgia a few different times before he eventually made his pledge.

The Schley County star is already in Athens taking classes. He was also in town for Georgia’s bowl preparations.

Scouting Report

The early front-runner for top EDGE prospect in the 2025 cycle as a rising junior. An unverified 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. Flashes a high-end combination of on-field athleticism and functional play strength. Lines up in both two and three-point stances off the edge. Shows noticeable first-step quickness off the snap. Very strong at the point of attack. Plays with excellent leverage and uses his strong lower body to move offensive linemen both as a bull rusher and run defender. Makes some eye-popping plays in pursuit, showcasing high-end athleticism in tracking down ball carriers from the back side. Doubles as a dangerous running back, using his athleticism and strength to pick up yards after contact. Helped his team to a state title appearance as a sophomore. – Charles Power
