Georgia football running back Zamir White made his RBU contribution to the 2022 NFL Draft and is headed to the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 122 overall in the fourth round.

White, a native of Laurinburg, NC and a product of Scotland County High School, was a five-star in the Class of 2018 and the No. 1-ranked running back. He played in 38 career games and scored 25 touchdowns on 2,043 career rushing yards. White averaged 5.3 yards per carry on 382 rushing attempts.

In 2021, White started 12 games in the Bulldogs’ running back rotation with James Cook and Kenny McIntosh. Zamir White’s teammates voted him as one of four permanent team captains. White led all Georgia running backs in rushing yards for the second straight season, with 856 yards on 160 carries. He also made his presence felt in the National Championship victory over Alabama with a team-high 84 rushing yards. White also scored the game’s first touchdown in the third quarter.

Coming in at 6-foot-0 and 214 pounds at the NFL Combine, White received a 6.25 prospect grade according to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats. That put him in the category of “will eventually be average starter” and as the No. 35 player in the draft. Zamir White tied for the combine’s best running back broad jump, at 10’8″, and ran the positions’ seventh-fastest 40-yard dash. All of this, after tearing his right ACL in 2017, and his left ACL in 2018.
