Indiana basketball set to get visit from North Florida transfer froward Josh Harris

Indiana basketball is set to get a visit from North Florida transfer forward Josh Harris. Sources have confirmed to TheHoosier.com that visit will take place this coming Monday.
Josh Harris is a 6-foot-8 forward and is a native of Pembroke Pines, FL. He entered the portal after spending his freshman season with North Florida so he will enter with at least 3 years of eligibility. He was a teammate of Jasai Miles, who committed to the Hoosiers earlier this month out of the transfer portal.
In his lone season at North Florida, he averaged 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds appearing and starting in 30 games this past season. His excellent season earned him a spot on the Atlantic Sun Conference’s All-Freshman Team.
He shot 55.7 percent from the field which included only shooting converting 11 out of 33 three-point attempts (33.3 percent). He scored a career high 31 points vs Queens this past season. He had seven games scoring 19+ points, as well.

Harris played just 22.5 minutes a game. His per-40 minute average was: 23.8 points and 12.5 rebounds a game.
Harris is a terrific offensive rebounder, with an offensive rebound rate of 13.8 percent a season ago. That was 3rd in the A-Sun. He also ranked 5th overall in the A-Sun in offensive rating (1224).
Josh Harris is an athletic forward with a smooth skillset. He plays mostly around the rim with the potential to expand his game and improve as a stretch forward. With Indiana still looking to add to their front court, Josh Harris is a very intriguing option.
He is rated the No. 119 overall prospect in the On3 Player Transfer Portal Rankings.
