How to watch Alvaro Folgueiras at the FIBA U20 Eurobasket

We have had glimpses into Iowa men’s basketball practice under Ben McCollum in the last month or so. But, one player that we didn’t get to see when we were invited in to watch the Hawkeyes was Alvaro Folgueiras.
The Robert Morris transfer was with the Iowa program for about two weeks before the rest of his teammates joined him in Iowa City. During that time he went through strength and conditioning work and individual drills with McCollum’s coaching staff.
Then the rest of the team arrived in early June and he was able to participate in practice with his teammates for approximately two weeks. Following that time, Folgueiras was then headed back to Spain for the rest of June and most of July to play in one international event and practice with teammates in another.
First the international event. This summer there is a FIBA U20 Eurobasket tournament in Greece. Folgueiras and his Spanish team have qualified for the event that begins this Saturday. Spain is part of pool A and will play Israel, Poland, and Finland in pool play. They will play three straight days before a break and then games will resume on Wednesday.
