Krikke happy to be a Hawkeye
If the coaching staff at Valpo wasn’t let go at the end of the most recent college basketball season, there’s a chance that Ben Krikke is still playing with them. But, they were fired at the end of the season and the decision was easy for the Krikke to enter the transfer portal as a graduate student and eventually land at the University of Iowa to his final year of college basketball.
He met with the Iowa media for the first time on Thursday to discuss his decision to come to play for the Hawkeyes, how he has fit with his new teammates, his style of play, and how important their foreign trip will be in August.
