Bennett Stirtz considered declaring for the NBA Draft
For the outside looking in, it seemed like it was a slam dunk that once Ben McCollum agreed to become the head coach at the University of Iowa that Bennett Stirtz would join him. But, listening to the star guard on Tuesday it was far from a done deal once his junior year came to a close. In fact, he indicated on Tuesday that he gave serious thought to entering the NBA Draft, particularly if he was going to remain at Drake.
But once it was announced that McCollum was headed to Iowa, Stirtz was fully behind joining him. Stritz discusses his interest in the NBA Draft and what his thoughts were about that process and he talks about what he has worked on improving in the off-season.
