Bodey McCaslin makes college decision
Class of 2024 offensive tackle Bodey McCaslin has made his college decision. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Illinois native announced his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes today after making a visit to campus earlier this week.
“It’s been a long time coming and it felt right,” McCaslin told HawkeyeReport.com.
A three-star prospect from St. Charles East High School, McCaslin shows tremendous potential on film. Along with Iowa, he also earned scholarship offers from Penn State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Purdue, Colorado, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Ball State, Western Michigan, and Old Dominion during the recruiting process.

“It feels great,” said McCaslin. “It’s a huge relief to be done with this part of my life and on to the next.”
Overall, McCaslin is commitment No. 10 for the Hawkeyes in the Class of 2024. He joins He joins Cam Buffington, Cody Fox, Preston Ries, Derek Weisskopf, Josh Janowski, James Resar, Drew Campbell, Xavier Williams, and Brevin Doll in the Iowa’s recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 23 in the country.
