Brendan Sullivan happy to be back as starting quarterback
When Brendan Sullivan has been healthy and given an opportunity, the Iowa quarterback has been effective under center leading the Hawkeye offense. He jumped in against Northwestern and led the Hawkeyes to a win. The next week he led Iowa to putting 42 points on the scoreboard against Wisconsin.
After sustaining an ankle injury in loss to UCLA, Sullivan essentially missed the last 2.5 games of the Iowa regular season. On Friday he pronounced himself fully healthy and ready to return to his role as the starting quarterback. He talks about his road back following the injury, the new faces at the quarterback position now with the team and what he thinks of them, along with if he pays any attention to the Iowa coaches continuing to recruit quarterbacks in the transfer portal.
