Brevin Doll announces commitment
In-state running back Brevin Doll has made his college decision. The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Adel native announced his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes today.
A three-star prospect ranked No. 4 in the state of Iowa in the Class of 2024, Doll chose the Hawkeyes over scholarship offers from Iowa State, Minnesota, Purdue, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Army, Western Michigan, Princeton, Northern Iowa, and South Dakota.
“Iowa has always felt like home,” Doll told HawkeyeReport.com. “And after lots of conversation with family and prayer, the decision was made clear.”

With great track speed that has led to back-to-back state titles in the 200-meter dash, Doll racked up 2,681 all-purpose yards and 35 touchdowns as a junior at ADM High School. That included 1,475 yards rushing, 640 yards receiving, and 566 return yards. That kind of versatility is exactly what the Hawkeyes are hoping to add to their offense.
“They plan to utilize my versatility and get me involved in the pass game,” said Doll.
Overall, Doll is commitment No. 9 for the Hawkeyes in the Class of 2024. He joins Cam Buffington, Cody Fox, Preston Ries, Derek Weisskopf, Josh Janowski, James Resar, Drew Campbell, and Xavier Williams in the Iowa’s recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 23 in the country.
“It feels great,” Doll said. “It’s a really special group.”
