Brock Harding leads Iowa in scoring in loss to Illinois

As a kid who grew up in Illinois and attended many events over the years in Champaign, Brock Harding loves to play in State Farm Arena. It’s where he led Moline to a state title just a few short years ago. On Tuesday night the Hawkeyes fell by twenty on the road to the Fighting Illini, but Harding had another solid performance.
Harding led Iowa with 16 points and he also dished out four assists as Iowa struggled out of the gate in both halves in this loss. Following the game, Harding spoke to the two reporters from Iowa in Champaign about the slow starts for the Hawkeyes and why they keep happening, his own performance, and what his brother (who played baseball for Illinois) told him before the game.
