Cade McNamara focused on improving, preparing for Washington
There has been a lot of criticism directed at the Iowa offense and much of that criticism has been focused on the play of quarterback Cade McNamara. The fifth-year signal caller has had stretches of good play this season, but still has not thrown a touchdown pass against a Power 5 school since the 2021 Big Ten Title game when he was at Michigan. Despite the second half offensive struggles in the loss to Ohio State, opportunity awaits this weekend, as a talented Washington comes to Kinnick Stadium.
McNamara met with the media on Tuesday to discuss overcoming the loss to Ohio State and turning the page to Washington, as well as his thoughts on his play through five games.
