Caitlin Clark on making history as a Hawkeye
Caitlin Clark made history on a couple of fronts on Thursday night. First, the Iowa All American drilled her signature three pointer from the logo to set the all-time scoring mark for NCAA women’s basketball. Then she went out and broke the arena and program record for points in a game with 49, including 9 of 18 from three point range.
Following the win and the historic night, Clark reflected on her hot start that included 23 points in the first quarter. She also discussed her record setting three pointer and the very hot start from the floor, plus the meaningful tributes that she witnessed after the game from her family and friends on the video board.
