Caitlin Clark met with the media to discuss her decision to enter the WNBA Draft.

Caitlin Clark has been a program changer for the Iowa Hawkeyes ever since she stepped on the floor as a true freshman in 2021. Over the course of her four-year career, she has accomplished a ton of things. NCAA all-time leading scorer, National Player of the Year, Big Ten Player of the Year, led Iowa to the Final Four, etc, etc. You could write 1,000 words on her awards. Clark announced on Thursday that this season will be her final one at Iowa. She will enter the 2024 WNBA Draft and begin her professional career.

On Friday, Caitlin met with the media to discuss what went into her decision to enter the draft, her feelings towards Sunday’s Senior Day and her fellow senior teammates mean to her. She also talked about why she felt it was important to announce her decision before season concluded.
