Cooper DeJean with Minnesota memories
Cooper DeJean was just a younger child back in 2010 when he and his family went to see the Hawkeyes play at Minnesota. It wasn’t a good game for Iowa and DeJean said his lasting memory was hearing the Gophers public address announcer say that’s another Golden Gopher first down. That left an impression on the Iowa fan that has stuck with him today.
He talks about that experience, hearing the who hates Iowa chant and silencing it last year in Minneapolis, and the play of the Iowa defense and facing the Gophers this weekend. He also shares what he saw on film on his early forth and one tackle of Braeleon Allen from Wisconsin.
