A special win for Deacon Hill
It was almost exactly one year ago when Deacon Hill put his name into the transfer portal. At the time, Hill was a member of the Wisconsin Badger team and didn’t know what the future would hold. For a time, he didn’t think it would include playing power five football.
Yet, here Hill is, leading the Iowa football team to another win, this time at the place he used to call home. Hill talks about the win over the Badgers and what it meant to him. He discussed the passing game and the struggles that they felt along the way, along with the strong rushing performance from Leshon Williams.
