Deacon Hill on Iowa's game winning drive
It wasn’t pretty for the makeshift Iowa offense on Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field, but Deacon Hill and the Hawkeyes did just enough to emerge with a 10-7 victory over Northwestern. Hill led Iowa on a game winning drive with 1:50 left in the game that resulted in a 53 yard field goal.
That drive included a critical pass to Kaleb Brown that put the Hawkeyes in position to leave with a win. Hill talks about the good and bad of his day. The bad included a very poor decision that almost resulted in an interception and the good was coming up with big plays late to win another game.
