Cedar Falls defensive end Drew Campbell has made his college decision. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Campbell announced today that he is headed to the University of Iowa to play for the Hawkeyes.

The younger brother of recently graduated All-American linebacker Jack Campbell, Drew has held a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes since last July. Like his brother, he took his time with the recruiting process though, as he made sure to investigate each of the schools showing interest, which included offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, and Northern Iowa. In the end, the opportunity to play close to home in Iowa’s defense was just too good to pass up.

“I just felt like Iowa City is the place for me and the coaches made me feel most at home,” Campbell told HawkeyeReport.com.
