Drew Stevens discusses kicking range, bye week plans
Eight straight weeks of football to begin the season is grueling for everyone, including the kicker. Drew Stevens has had a successful season with the Hawkeyes, converting 13 of his 16 kicks, including a 4/4 performance in a win over Michigan State. He is also 15/15 on extra point attempts.
Stevens met with the media on Wednesday morning to discuss his plans for the bye week, which include traveling back home to South Carolina to watch his brother, who is a kicker at North Augusta High School. Drew also talked about his plans to add some weight during the offseason and how far his range is if it came down to it in a game.
