Hurkett likes the way the defense looked this spring
A little bit of turf toe kept Ethan Hurkett on the sidelines on Saturday, but that gave the veteran defensive end for the Hawkeyes to sit back and watch his teammates cause problems for the Iowa offense. Hurkett spoke about the play of his counterpart at defensive end, Max Llewellyn, putting together a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon and if he has been doing that all spring.
Hurkett also talks about the new additions from the portal at defensive tackle and what he has seen from Bryce Hawthorne and Jonah Pace during spring ball and the rest of the defense stepping into larger roles.
