Four-star TE Thomas Meyer commits to Iowa
Four-star tight end Thomas Meyer is going to be a Hawkeye. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Clear Lake native officially announced his commitment to the Iowa coaching staff tonight one day after visiting campus in Iowa City for a junior day with the Hawkeyes.
One of the state’s top prospects in the Class of 2025, Meyer chose Iowa over scholarship offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Missouri, Duke, Stanford, Miami, and Texas A&M.
“I just feel like Iowa is the best fit for me and it’s been a dream of mine ever since I was little,” said Meyer, who grew up a Hawkeye fan. “It’s a great feeling.”
