Fran McCaffery previews Michigan State, talks his future
Fran McCaffery met with the media on Tuesday afternoon primarily to discuss his senior players and facing Michigan State. But, with rumors swirling regarding his future as the head coach at the University of Iowa, he addressed his plans as far as leading the program.
McCaffery spent the first part of his presser discussing the impact that Payton Sandfort has had as a player and leader, particularly this season. He also talks about the NBA giving looks to Josh Dix as he rises up the draft board for many teams. He also talks about the play of Drew Thelwell this year, which was his only year with the Iowa program. Finally, he is asked about his future with the Iowa program and if he is planning on returning next season.
