Fran McCaffery on the defeat by the Ducks
Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery continues to appreciate the heart and effort that his squad shows each and every game. But, he wishes the results would start to turn in their favor. On Wednesday night it was another close loss for Iowa. The Hawkeyes had their chances late and missed a couple of point blank shots and a late attempted was tipped in an 80-78 loss to the Ducks.
Following the loss McCaffery discussed the late shots by Josh Dix and if that was the one that they were looking for out of the timeout and out of bounds play. He also talks about the tough whistle that a couple of his best players seem to get getting when they are on the floor. Plus he discusses the journey of big man Even Brauns and his play in this game.
