Fran McCaffery on the win over Washington State
Fran McCaffery had to push a few different buttons on Friday night, but his team’s depth and talent eventually prevailed in a 76-66 victory over Washington State at Vibrant Arena in Moline, IL. McCaffery made the decision to extend his defense, which comes with a level of risk, and was able to help the Hawkeyes finish strong down the stretch.
