With about fourteen minutes left in the game against Nebraska, it looked like Fran McCaffery’s Iowa squad was staring an ugly loss to the Cornhuskers, perhaps by double figures. But, that’s when Payton Sandfort got hot and along with Josh Dix, they led Iowa to victory over the Cornhuskers.

Following the win, McCaffery spoke to the media about the come from behind win for the Hawekyes, the toughness of Josh Dix, the way his team started the overtime period, and much more.
