Fran McCaffery on the loss to the Badgers
The second loss to Wisconsin wasn’t as bad as the first, but it was certainly just as painful for the Iowa players and coaches. Iowa hung in there until the later stages of the second half before falling to the Badgers at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Following the loss, Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery offered up detailed responses to the media regarding the performance of his team and the game plan that they were hoping to execute in the contest. He also implies that perhaps one of his star players is not getting a favorable whistle during recent games and that is limiting his ability to score the basketball.
