Gabbie Marshall, Syd Affolter talk LSU

When it comes to advancing in the NCAA Tournament, the teams that get contributions from everyone in the lineup are the ones that make it the furthest. For the Iowa Hawkeyes, Gabbie Marshall and Syd Affolter are two huge pieces to the puzzle. In their Sweet Sixteen win over Colorado, Gabbie Marshall put up 14 points, including four made three-pointers, while Syd Affolter finished with 15 points and five rebounds.

Both Marshall and Affolter met with the media in the locker room on Sunday morning to look ahead towards their Monday matchup with LSU. They spoke about reaching a new program record for wins, the challenges of facing LSU and what it’s going to take to win the game.
