Hawkeye Report Podcast talks Iowa hoops
It was a special edition of the Hawkeye Report Podcast. Our friend John Bohnenkamp joins the pod to remember our great friend Steve Batterson, who passed away earlier this week. We stroll down memory lane with stories of our time with him on the Iowa beat and some of the fun we had along the way. We also salute Batterson’s incredible work ethic on the Iowa beat and his love of minor league baseball.
Then we jump over to Iowa basketball. Following a presser with several Hawkeye players, we discuss what we learned from them and our thoughts on what the season might be like this year. Then I wrap up the podcast by discussing the latest hot streak on the football recruiting trail and if the Hawkeyes are almost done with the Class of 2024.
