Hawkeye Report Podcast talks Iowa football
The Iowa football season is inching closer to returning and we celebrate that on the podcast. We had our first summer football media session with several Hawkeye players and learned plenty. We discuss meeting Nick Jackson for the first time and how Cade McNamara helped to build team chemistry with a trip to California where he worked with his quarterback coach.
Then we dive into the world of football recruiting. Iowa recently hosted a large group of prospects from the Class of 2025. What happened and is Iowa closer to landing their first commit in the Class of 2025? We also look at the upcoming weekend and several prospects from the Class of 2024 arriving on campus this weekend. Also, there’s a new commitment expected on Thursday and we discuss it.
Finally we talk some Iowa basketball. The Hawkeyes gave out the numbers for the new players and we talk about their upcoming trip to France and Spain in August and why it’s very important for this Hawkeye team. We also take a quick look at the recruiting for the Class of 2024 and 2025.
