Hawkeyes add Northwestern transfer Jacob Gill
Northwestern wide receiver transfer Jacob Gill is headed to the University of Iowa. The 6-foot-0, 190-pound North Carolina native officially made the announcement on social media tonight following a campus visit to Iowa City.
“It was a great visit and great hospitality from the staff,” Gill told HawkeyeReport.com. “The love and eagerness to get me in Iowa City felt very genuine.”
“Everything fell in line and it feels like a great opportunity, so I ended up committing,” said Gill.
A three-star prospect coming out of high school in 2021, Gill chose Northwestern over scholarship offers from NC State, Louisville, Wake Forest, Appalachian State, East Carolina, Charlotte, and Liberty.
