Hawkeyes land 2024 OL Josh Janowski
Once the Iowa Hawkeyes offered, it did not take long for Class of 2024 offensive lineman Josh Janowski to make a decision. Today, less than 48 hours later, the 6-foot-2, 275-pound Janowski made the call and gave his verbal commitment to the Iowa coaching staff.
An absolutely dominant interior offensive lineman on film, Janowski looks like a perfect fit for the Hawkeyes. Since the recruiting process began, he has been a frequent visitor to Iowa City, including a home game at Kinnick Stadium last season and the Hawkeye Tailgater back in July.
Janowski chose Iowa over scholarship offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Miami-OH, and Toledo.
Overall, Janowski is commitment No. 6 for the Hawkeyes in the Class of 2024. He joins offensive lineman Cody Fox, quarterback James Resar, and linebackers Cam Buffington, Preston Ries, and Derek Weisskopf on Iowa’s 2024 commitment list.

Impact for Iowa
With the ability to play center or guard, Janowski brings a lot of versatility plus a serious mean streak to the offensive line position. Now that the Hawkeyes have Janowski and Fox on board, the focus will likely shift to offensive tackle as they look to round out the Class of 2024.
Iowa is already off to a good start in the class with a group that currently ranks No. 22 in the On3 Consensus Team Rankings for 2024.
