Hawks pick up Pace
Central Michigan transfer Jonah Pace has made his decision. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound defensive tackle announced today that he is headed to the University of Iowa to play for the Hawkeyes next season after visiting campus earlier this month.
Pace, who also visited Nebraska, has one year of eligibility remaining. Originally from Marengo, IL, he had 34 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and four sacks in 12 starts for Central Michigan during the 2024 season.

For Iowa, he fills a big need at defensive tackle and should be in the mix for playing time right away on the Hawkeyes’ defense in 2025.
Overall, Pace is the second addition for Iowa from the transfer portal this recruiting cycle, joining quarterback Hank Brown, who announced his commitment in mid-December.
