How to Watch: Iowa Women's Basketball vs Nebraska
All winning streaks come to a close at some point and for the Iowa women’s basketball team, they saw theirs come to a close on Sunday afternoon. #18 Ohio State upset the Hawkeyes in Columbus 100-92 in overtime. Today, the Hawkeyes are back at home for a rivalry matchup against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. It will be the 38th all-time meeting between the two programs with Hawkeyes leading the series 22-15. Iowa has won eight in a row in the series, including both matchups a year ago.

As for Nebraska, they come into the contest with a 13-6 record, including a 5-3 mark in Big Ten play. They have lost three of their last five games, but have quality wins over Maryland, Michigan State and Michigan. The Huskers are just 2-6 against Quad 1 opponents and 11-0 against everyone else.
The Huskers are led by Second Team All-Big Ten center Alexis Markowski. She is averaging 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, while she has registered 12 double-doubles this season. Last time out, Nebraska was defeated by Penn State, 82-73, at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College. Markowski finished with a double-double 16 points and 19 rebounds. Jaz Shelley added 12 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Darian White finished with 12 points and three assists.
