How to Watch: Iowa women's basketball vs #14 Indiana
After going on the road for a pair of games, the Iowa women’s basketball team returns to Iowa City for a matchup that has been circled since the schedule came out. The #14 Indiana Hoosiers come to town for a top 15 Big Ten showdown at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Tonight will be the 78th all-time meeting between the two programs, with Iowa leading the series 55-22. The Hawkeyes have won four of the last five matchups, including last years regular season finale at Carver on a Caitlin Clark buzzer-beater.
Lisa Bluder and the Hawkeyes enter the matchup with a 16-1 record, including a 5-0 mark in Big Ten play. Iowa sits at #3 in the AP Poll, with their lone loss coming at Carver-Hawkeye Arena to K-State on November 16th. They are currently on an 13-game winning streak, which is tied for the longest streak under Lisa Bluder. The Hawkeyes are led by National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark who is averaging 31.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game. Last time out, Iowa defeated Purdue 96-71 behind a 15th career triple-double from Clark (26 pts, 10 reb, 10 ast). Kate Martin finished with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Gabbie Marshall added 12 points on four made three-pointers. Sydney Affolter had 14 points and six rebounds off the bench.

As for Indiana, they also come into the contest on a 13-game winning streak and with a 5-0 record in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers are ranked 14th in the country and their lone loss came at #8 Stanford back on November 12th. Mackenzie Holmes is the star on the Indiana, averaging 19.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 66.5% from the floor. Last time out, the Hoosiers defeated Penn State 75-67 behind 21 points and 13 rebounds from Holmes. Shooting guards Sara Scalia and Sydney Parrish combined for 31 points and 12 rebounds, while point guard Chloe Moore-McNeil added 16 points and six assists.
