Iose Epenesa makes college decision
Highly sought after defensive lineman Iose Epenesa has finally made his much anticipated college decision. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Edwardsville, IL native announced tonight that he will be following in his family’s footsteps and attending the University of Iowa.
An elite prospect on film, Epenesa has been racking up college scholarship offers since he was in eighth grade. In April, the four-star prospect narrowed his list down to a top 10, which included Iowa, Miami, Penn State, Missouri, Utah, Texas, Kentucky, Oregon, Michigan, and Illinois. In May and June, Epenesa and his family made official visits to Iowa, Miami, Penn State, Missouri, and Utah, and then started working on decision.
That brought us to today with the announcement that Epenesa will be playing at Iowa, where his father Eppy Epenesa and two older brothers, A.J. Epenesa and Eric Epenesa, also suited up for the Hawkeyes.
