Iowa Baseball to face Notre Dame, Stetson and UMBC in DeLand, FL
The final piece of the 2025 Iowa Baseball schedule puzzle has been revealed. Rick Heller and the Hawkeyes will face off against Notre Dame, Stetson and UMBC from February 21st-23rd at the Stetson Tournament in DeLand, FL.
Friday, Feb 21 – vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11:00am)
Saturday, Feb 22– at Stetson Hatters (4:00pm)
Sunday, Feb 23– vs UMBC Retrievers (9:00am)
The Hawkeyes will open the weekend on Friday against ACC foe Notre Dame. It will be the 71st meeting between the two programs, but just the first since 2012 Big Ten/Big East Challenge. The Irish are coming off of a 27-25 (RPI 79) season, including a 9-21 mark in ACC play, but they did miss the ACC Tournament.
On Saturday, they will go up against the tournament host, Stetson. It will be the 10th meeting between the two programs and the first since the 2014 Stetson Invitational. The Hatters are coming off of a 41-22 (RPI 97) season, including an ASUN Tournament Championship and an appearance in the Tallahassee Regional.

Iowa will wrap up the weekend in central Florida with a matchup against UMBC. This will be the first ever meeting between the Hawkeyes and Retrievers. UMBC is coming off of a 27-25 (RPI 179) season, including a 14-10 mark in America East play. They advanced all the way to the America East Championship Game where they fell to Bryant.
Iowa Baseball is set to open the regular season with a three-game road series against the South Florida Bulls in Tampa, FL from February 14-16.
