Fran McCaffery on the loss to Purdue
The Iowa basketball team ran into an angry Purdue team that was playing at a high level and that was a recipe for a one-sided 87-68 loss at Mackey Arena on Monday night. Following the loss, Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery spoke to the media about the challenges of guarding Zach Edey and how they struggled against Purdue’s team in this game.
McCaffery also talks about the the issues with communication inside the arena and if that was an issue for Iowa’s players during the game.
