Iowa defensive line standouts continue to grow
Last year, Aaron Graves did something that very few Iowa defensive linemen have done, play significant snaps as a true freshman. Meanwhile, Deontae Craig quietly had an outstanding season in 2022 and will move into a more significant role this coming season.
Both looked the part of being a future star on Saturday during Iowa’s final practice. Graves was the most dominant lineman on the field for much of the day and Craig, who played limited snaps, has a chance to become one of the better rush defensive ends in the Big Ten.
They talked about their development this spring, the play of the defensive line, and Craig’s love of the NBA Playoffs and his chatter about it on social media.
