Fran McCaffery previews Purdue, talks milestones
Since becoming the all-time leader in wins at Iowa earlier this week, Fran McCaffery has heard from a lot of friends and fellow coaches for reaching this lofty milestone. He opened his weekly press conference discussing what those messages meant to him as a coach.
Then he turned his attention to Purdue and what he has seen from the Boilermakers since their first meeting in early December and how they have so much depth and perhaps the best player in the country in Zach Edey. McCaffery also updates the health of his son, Patrick, who missed Monday’s game at Minnesota and reacts to the official hiring of Beth Goetz as Iowa’s athletic director.
