Fran McCaffery on the win over Northwestern
The Iowa basketball team is playing their best basketball at the start of the most important month in the college game. It’s March and Fran McCaffery is seeing his team grow by leaps and bounds in the final month of the season. That included closing out a hard fought win on Saturday at Northwestern, 87-80.
Following the win, McCaffery talked about the three key plays down the stretch that Iowa converted into points on their way to a victory over the Wildcats. He also talks about the development of Josh Dix, who he called one of the best players in the Big Ten and he discusses the play and improvement from Tony Perkins at the point guard position.
