Iowa players discuss what happened in loss to Wisconsin
One minute the Hawkeyes and the Badgers were slugging it out in a back and forth game in the Big Ten. Then a few minutes later, Wisconsin put their foot on the gas and never looked back as the routed the Hawkeyes in Madison, 116-85.
It was one that Drew Thelwell and Brock Harding will not soon forget. In fact, Harding noticed on the video board as he was leaving the floor that the number of three’s (21) was a school record and the total points by the Badgers was an arena record. If there was one bright spot, it was Thelwell, who scored an Iowa career high of 25 points in this game. They talk about how the game got away from them in the late stages of the first half and how the struggles on defense impacted their flow on offense.
