How to watch: Iowa basketball vs. Michigan
After falling on the road at Purdue and at Iowa State, the Hawkeye men’s basketball team is desperate for a win on Sunday afternoon. Iowa will host an equally desperate team looking for a victory in Michigan. The Wolverines come to Iowa City sitting at 4-5 this season, which Iowa is at 5-4 after losing by double figures in their last two games.
The last meeting between Iowa and Michigan in Iowa City was a classic. Iowa trailed by four points with 29 seconds left in the game. Payton Sandfort drilled a three point field goal and was fouled with 20 seconds left. He made the free throw to complete the four point play to tie the game at 79. Sandfort scored seven of Iowa’s fourteen points in the overtime period as Iowa won the game 93-84.
